My TCA Peel

Hi I'm Megan, and I'm an aesthetician at All About You. I recently had a TCA peel here in clinic and have photo-graphed my experience for you to understand what actually happens. While each clients skin is different and may react in different ways here is a good idea of what you can expect to see.

Day 0 - Just after my peel.  My skin felt slightly warm all day quite red, in the evening was a bit headachy, could feel the skin tightening used a cool compress to moisten face

Day 2  - Skin felt tight could you see the pigmentation coming through slightly pink no heat though

Day 3 - Skin felt very tight cracks starting to appear.  Very aware of facial movements.  By the evening some areas beginning to flake pigment is darker

Day 4 - When waking skin was very tight again lots more flaking around areas of movement such as lip and chin the flaking is quite irritating not itchy though

 

Day 5 - Flaking more otherwise fine

Day 6 - Skin was very flaky good new skin feels great but I really want to wash my face with something other than water, and the cheeks were still very dry and flaky I want to scrub it off but I cant

Day 7 - Today and nearly there, cheeks are still very dry and flaky but I am allowed to use skin products again, my new skin looks and feels good.
